Uploading
Via FTP
You can upload to your
account with any FTP program. If you do not have a FTP program, you
can download one for FREE by clicking
here.
By this time, you should have
received a welcome email from us. Read your welcome email very
carefully. It contains detailed instructions about how to FTP to
your site. You will need the following info to upload via FTP:
Hostname: <your ip number>
Username: <your username>
Password: <your password>
Once logged in, click on the 'public_html' folder. That is where you
should upload your files to. |
Frontpage™
2002!
If you will
be using Microsoft® Frontpage® to upload to your web site, contact support
and ask them to enable your web extensions. Your Frontpage username
and password are the same as your FTP username and password.Frontpage can be a
tricky program. If you have difficulty uploading, it may be that
your extensions are not installed. If you are sure they are
installed, send details about your problem to support and we will
investigate.
The extensions we have installed are compatible with FP 2002, FP 2000 and
FP 98. For
more information about this
program, go to http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage |
Your
Control Panel
You can access your control
panel at any time by typing in;
http://<your ip number>/cpanel
or http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
Replace 'yourdomain.com' with your actual domain name. This will
not work until your domain name begins working. Your IP number will
work any time.
Transfer Domain?
If your
domain is already registered, you should contact support
for transfer
instructions. The sooner you contact support, the sooner the
transfer process can be started.
New Domain?
If you
ordered a new domain through us, then it should begin working within about
36-48 hours. If this amount of time passes, and your domain is not
working, contact support. |
Email Setup
Use your
control panel to setup email accounts. You can setup email
addresses, email forwarding, autoresponders and more.
You can also use web based email right in your control panel to check and
send your email!
